Ugly CAPTCHA
I was tasked to transfer one of our company's support blog from wordpress to blogger.
As I tried to import the xml file into the blogspot blog, I ran into trouble filling out the correct captcha characters. As my irritation began to grow, I started to cursed at the word verification apps for making my task difficult. But the captcha tool seemed bent on fighting back, giving me this set of characters.
fanget in the Filipino language means ugly.
A CAPTCHA or Captcha is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to ensure that the response is not generated by a computer.
The term "CAPTCHA" (based upon the word capture) was coined in 2000 by Luis von Ahn, Manuel Blum, Nicholas J. Hopper, and John Langford. It is a contrived acronym for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart."

Finally, I was done with the importing. And it took an "ugly" word for me to do so.

Thanks for making me laugh, those captchas are aggravating, a human can't even read them sometimes.
That's funny. I have the hardest time reading some of these captcha letters.
We often encounter captcha in filling up forms and whathaveyou.
But it never crossed my mind that captcha's can become funny words too!
Nice find!
